Letting It Pass For Endurance

Aging into the foundation before old age rips a new form of disappointment. I’ve heard old men say many times, wait until you get older, you wake up in pain. I’ve wondered how older ones can stay so positive or maybe they all exaggerate. When I wake up, I wonder why I’m alive.

Years of fighting low lung level function will do that. A good two decades of 86% percent lung function brings anyone close to old age territory. The delirium that sets in on a lack of oxygen slows to process. It isn’t a high. It’s the immediate stupor of moving too slow when life is already too fast. It’s a virtual time travel in suffocated dreams and ambitions.

Limits pound on the door while the gaggle of women conversing over each other in a car crack through the doors. The documentation of silliness ensues with every important thought given an emotion blurred by bitter discontent. Then the winter comes and the discontent seems seasonal and tribulation lingers into the window of imagination.

Wary of the fallout, some things are beyond control. There can be an influence but it’s been the week of decades long YouTubers calling it quits at the beginning of 2024. There must be a shift in advertising where hocking a product is the only means to make a living. Every three minutes there is an advertisement to promote the highly expensive content that could always be duplicated later. The problem is how that content last through time. A decade passes and we’re all irrelevant to the new unfounded generation that puts new words to actions…
